Collection Description:

The Lentil Reference Set of the International Center for Agriculture Research in the Dry Areas (ICARDA) is a global core collection of lentils (Lens culinaris Medik). It was recently genotyped (GBS) and phenotyped as described by Rajendran, Karthika, et al https://doi.org/10.1017/S147926212100006X. The primary distributer of the germplasm is ICARDA genebank. The germplasm was imported from Lebanon in 2022 as part of A BBSRC Seeding Award to support germplasm adaptation for UK crop diversification.
